What is Christian Growth Ministries, Inc.?
Christian Growth Ministries, Inc., is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, independent, non-denominational, lay, faith ministry founded in 1987 for the purpose of presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever and whenever the Lord opens a door to do so.
Our Mission:
To take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as broad an audience as the Lord sets before us.
Our mission is done, in part, through writing, speaking, counseling and the development of Christian resources for all ages.
Who Are We?
This ministry consists of a board of five Christian leaders who share a commitment to our mission. Founder and President James J. Moore and Vice President Dorothy L. Moore are a husband and wife lay-ministering team who have first lived and experienced what they share with others.
What Do We Believe?
We worship and serve a triune God: God the Eternal Father; God the Son Jesus Christ who was crucified and died for our sins, was resurrected for our salvation and is coming again; and God the Holy Spirit who comforts, guides and sustains us daily with the fullness of His presence.
We believe trusting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and accepting His free gift of salvation is the single most important decision anyone can possibly make on this earth. Once a person repents of his or her sins and is saved by the Grace of our Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, the next step to living in peace and joy is to pursue an ever-deepening relationship with Him.
We believe drawing near to Jesus Christ is often done quietly and privately, but also we are convinced that Christian fellowship and wholesome interaction serve to create a viable atmosphere for nurturing a desire to follow the Lord.

Woven throughout the carefully chosen features at ‘Joy…in the Morning’ etc. we try to continually maintain our focus on the ultimate significance of our message: “Eternity Through Christ” (ETC.). We sincerely hope the phrase Eternity Through Christ might help people remember not only the Web site’s address but especially the real purpose of this ministry as stated above: To take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as broad an audience as the Lord sets before us.
Here at Christian Growth Ministries, Inc., we anticipate the joy of reaching out to an audience – one person at a time – circling the globe with the message of Christ through www.joyinthemorningetc.org.
